App comparison
We checked availability in the US and Russian App Stores on October 6, 2026. Apple removes VPN apps from some regions from time to time, so this can change.
| App | Developer | Price | US App Store | Russian App Store |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Happ | Flyfrog LLC | Free | Yes | No |
| Streisand | Arcadia Odyssey Inc. | Free | Yes | No |
| V2Box | techlaim | Free | Yes | No (clone only) |

| Incy | LLC ITDEV | Free | Yes | Yes |

| Shadowrocket | Shadow Launch Technology Limited | $2.99 | Yes | Yes |
None of these apps sell servers — you need a key or subscription from a VPN service.
Watch out for clones
When an original app disappears from a regional store, look-alikes take its place. In the Russian App Store on October 6, 2026:
- "Happ VPN", "Happ VPN Official", "Happ VPN ++" — not Happ. They're published by Rocket VPN Pro, SPK TECH LTD and INTRADEI TOV.
- "V2Box" — published by Hunan Bofan Network Technology, not by techlaim.
- "Foxray VPN" — from CLEANUP FREE CLEANER LIMITED, unrelated to the original FoXray.
Clones often show ads and push their own paid subscriptions. Always check the developer name.
Which one to pick
- US or most other regions: Happ or Streisand — free and well maintained.
- Russian Apple ID: Incy (free) or Shadowrocket (paid).
- Mac: Happ (DMG, macOS 13+), Hiddify, v2rayN or Incy. See VLESS clients for every platform.
Switching your Apple ID region
To download an app from another country's App Store, you need an Apple ID from that country. You can create a separate Apple ID or change your current one: Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region. Apple will ask you to cancel subscriptions and spend your remaining balance first.
A subscription for any of these apps. Vetryx works in Happ, Streisand, V2Box, Hiddify, Incy and Shadowrocket — one link, four protocols. See pricing.
