What v2rayNG is

v2rayNG is a free, open-source Android client on the Xray core (Android 7+). It supports VLESS (including REALITY), VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks and more, and accepts keys and subscriptions. The desktop sibling is v2rayN; there's no iOS version.

v2rayNG isn't on Google Play. Official builds are at github.com/2dust/v2rayNG/releases.

Files with fdroid in the name are builds for the F-Droid catalog; for a normal install, use the ones without it. Android will ask you to allow installs from this source.

Adding a subscription

  1. Open subscription settingsSide menu (☰) → subscription groups.
  2. Add the linkTap +, paste the subscription URL, name it and save.
  3. Update the subscriptionMain screen → ⋮ → update subscription. Servers appear.
  4. ConnectPick a server and tap the round button at the bottom right. Allow the VPN on first use.

Single keys: + on the main screen → import from clipboard. Menu labels vary slightly between versions.

Troubleshooting

  1. Update the subscription and run the latency test from the ⋮ menu; pick a server that responds.
  2. Try another protocol — REALITY ↔ Hysteria2 or XHTTP.
  3. Update v2rayNG from GitHub — old versions may not understand new server settings.
  4. Check your subscription's expiry and device limit.

No. It's officially distributed through github.com/2dust/v2rayNG/releases. Store apps with similar names come from other developers.

The arm64-v8a build for almost any recent phone; armeabi-v7a for old 32-bit phones.

Is there v2rayNG for PC or iPhone?

No. v2rayNG is Android-only. The desktop version from the same developer is v2rayN.
